Soccer Ends

This was our first year to do soccer.  I am not sure that the kids will be begging to sign up next year... but now that we have the balls and shin guards and all that stuff, I hope we give it another go. 

Jillian's experience was a lot different than Jason's.  She had a coach change midway through the year and lets just say... at this age, I think the coach has a lot to do with how exciting this can be.  All in all, she did great and seemed to have a decent time.  She finally got to be goalie the last game and made a friend or 2.  She does like to kick the ball around from time to time - and that is about all we can ask for, right? 

Jason had this crazy Italian soccer nut for a coach AND his dad as the assistant.  He really enjoyed when he was able to be goalie.  He was about as big as the goal, so nothing went by!  He had a buddy on the team and seemed to improve with his "speed" as time went on!  All in all, I am glad that we did it, and hope they had fun!!
