Meeting Rosie

So... I bet some of you are curious about this one... Well, I have always been a fan of Rosie.  I used to watch her show and I remember being so sad when it ended.  I never read her books or followed her career or anything, but then when she came on the view, I was thrilled!  I actually would want to watch the stupid show to see her.  Then I found out she had a blog and I often read it and sometimes even ask her a question with the hopes she will answer.  (she did once!)  She was coming to Chicago for a book signing, and I really wanted to go! I have never done this before.  I really don't care about celebrities.  But there is something about her that I find interesting.  I think that she is so interesting and so complex, but yet so simple when it comes to just loving her family and trying to be normal.  She has opened my eyes to many things and I actually have learned a few things from her.  What I learned about this experience is that she is just as much a human being as I am.  She just has a different job.  She was very nice and the kids were great companions!  All in all, it was a fun day and a great adventure!  

She gave us a hug!  Rowan was not as thrilled as I was.	Here are my friends.  We were in a special line for people with kids.  I was trying to rent them out to the other folks... no bites...	Here we are... waiting to see her!!!
