Swim Team!!!

This year the kids signed up for the Bensenville Sting swim team!  We are so glad we did!  It has been very fun for everyone!  For starters, we were able to see our cousins, Marty and Maggie, a lot!  (this was their first year too)  Also, we learned lots of cool new stuff!  We have worked on diving in, doing the breast, back, freestyle and butterfly! and how to hang out!  See... at the meets, you only swim in like 3 or 4 events.  But the best part is hanging out with your buddies or often times with your family.  I like to think it is like camping.  Some kids set up tents, we bring lots of treats, we are outside and we just hang.  And then when your kid is up you go cheer for a minute and hope they make it... and then back to hanging out!

Jim has a spreadsheet of how the kids have done over the past 6 weeks.  We just had conference (pictures coming later) and they improved so much!!  It is so cool!!!  The other cool thing is, they get ribbons for all the events they are in!  How awesome is that??!!!  So take a peek at my little fishes and know that this is something we plan to do for as long as we can!
